These terms form an agreement between you and Neon Tetris ("the Site") regarding your use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to everything below.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Site means you have fully read and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Site. If you are a minor under the legal age in your jurisdiction, please read these terms with a guardian and use the Site only with their consent.
THE SERVICE
The Site provides a browser-based block-stacking game, including a solo Marathon mode, a 40 Lines time-trial mode, a local profile, online ranks, and friend battles. Some features (such as online ranks and friend battles) require a server connection and a registered account. We may adjust, add, or discontinue features from time to time.
ACCOUNTS & SECURITY
To register an online account, you choose a username and a password. Usernames must not contain unlawful, infringing, or offensive content. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; losses caused by disclosure or poor safekeeping are your own responsibility. If your account is compromised, please contact us as soon as possible.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to interfere with the normal operation of the Site, including but not limited to: using cheats, scripts, or other automation tools to play; forging or tampering with run data or replays; attacking, probing, or scanning our servers; exploiting bugs for unfair advantage; or posting content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. We may limit features, remove results, or terminate service for accounts that violate these rules.
RANKS & REPLAY VERIFICATION
Results submitted to the online ranks are verified by server-side replay. We may review, flag, reject, or remove abnormal results without prior notice. Run data produced by friend battles and spectating is used to run and display those matches.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The design, code, artwork, and copy of the Site (unless stated otherwise) belong to the Site operator. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Site without permission. Tetris® and related marks are trademarks of The Tetris Company; the Site is an independently developed unofficial work with no affiliation to, or endorsement by, them.
AVAILABILITY & CHANGES
We work to keep the service stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or discontinue part or all of the service for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons, and will try to announce this on the Site in advance.
DISCLAIMER
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Site is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the service — including but not limited to data loss, lost results, or device failure. Your local profile lives in your browser; profile loss caused by clearing browser data is your own responsibility.
CHANGES & CONTACT
We may revise these terms from time to time. Revised terms will be published on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
