Scoring: lines, levels, and combos
Score comes from cleared lines, the current level, and consecutive successful clears. Keep the board controllable before chasing efficiency.
Base score
Clearing 1, 2, 3, or 4 lines at once is worth 100, 300, 500, or 800 base points. The current level multiplies that score.
Levels and speed
Every 10 cleared lines increases the level. Higher levels shorten the automatic drop interval, leaving less time to read and correct placements.
Combo bonus
Consecutive line clears maintain a combo. Four-line clears have an extra multiplier, and longer combos progressively raise the score multiplier. A non-clear does not reset the board, but breaks the clear streak.
